World Network and Story Blockchain Partner to Verify Human Ownership of IP Onchain

World Network, co-founded by Sam Altman, and Story Blockchain have announced a strategic partnership aimed at enabling creators to prove authorship and monetize their intellectual property (IP) onchain. The collaboration leverages World ID, a digital identity system, to verify human creators and integrate with Story Protocol's IP lifecycle management.

The MOVE addresses growing concerns in an AI-dominated digital landscape, where proving ownership and maintaining creative rights have become increasingly complex. By connecting their Story wallets and verifying through World ID, creators can establish irrefutable ownership of their work while retaining control over licensing terms—whether royalty-based or fee-based.

"This partnership adds a trusted LAYER to the future of digital content," the companies stated, emphasizing the potential to unlock access to what they describe as "the world’s most valuable asset class." Programmable IP Licenses (PILs) will allow creators to set customized terms for third-party usage.
